Visit of Bešeňová Spa Water Centre with thermal swimming pools. Water in outdoor swimming pools contains ferriferous from local hot stream. Water rises up to ground through a borehole from the depth of 1987 meters. The water temperature is about 62°C. There are six swimming pools (water temperature about 30-40°C) open the whole year. Thermal water has many healing effects on human health, especially on kinetic system, respiratory system and urologic problems. Moreover it has very positive cosmetic effects too. It is available swimming during night too. Actual opening hours and prices are available at the reception of Pension MAXIM. Distance is 15 km from the Pension MAXIM through the highway D1 in direction to Žilina.

Visit of Aqua Park Tatralandia - the biggest one in the Slovak Republic - with many water attractions (6 helter-skelter and 6 swimming pools), water temperature about 37 °C. You can visit sauna and restaurant in this area too. Distance is approximately 6 km from Pension MAXIM in direction to Liptovský Mikuláš-Ondrašová-Trnovec.

Visit of town Liptovský Mikuláš (based on 1280) with many historical monuments and sights e.g. Church of St. Nicolaus, Museum of Janko Kráľ, Nicolaus torture, Museum of nature conservation, cave exploring etc. Distance from Pension MAXIM is approximately 5 km in direction to Liptovský Mikuláš (possible by bus too - 5 stations).

Navigation from look out ship at dam Liptovská Mara. Navigation endures approximately 1 hour and offers meeting with beauty of Liptov scenery. Distance from Pension MAXIM is approximately 7 km in direction to Liptovský Trnovec.

Visit of still living village Vlkolinec, written on the list of UNESCO. More than 45 wooden houses, church, bell tower, well and other building will show you typical village of Liptov from 19th century. Distance from Pension MAXIM is approximately 30 km in direction to Banská Bystrica. The second one - museum of Liptov village is in Pribylina - direction to High Tatras-Podbanske, 20 km from Pension MAXIM.

Visit to Sport Centre JASNÁ (Záhradky, Luková, Otupné, Chopok). One of the most visiting winter centres in Slovakia with downhill and running skiing landscape. 13 downhill runs, 3 running trucks, 14 lifts and cableways, evening skiing, partial technical show fence possibilities, big parking space, nadir point 960 - 2024 meters, average skiing season from 15th December till 30th April. During summer months it is very suitable for hiking. Distance from Pension MAXIM is approximately 8 km in direction to JASNA. You can use ski bus - bus stop approximately 250 m from Pension MAXIM.

Visit to Sport Centre JAVOROVICA. Smaller winter centre with quality service. 4 downhill runs, 2 of them for children, partially technical snow fence possibilities, big parking space in front of a lift, two permanent refreshment space, nadir point 705 - 1000 meters, average skiing season since 15th December till 15th April. Distance from the Pension MAXIM is approximately 8 km in direction to Poprad.

Visit to winter ski centre OPALISKO with 4 downhill runs, partially technical snow fence possibilities, parking space, skiing season from 30.12.till 15.4. Distance is 6 km from Pension MAXIM in direction to Liptovský Mikuláš.

Visit of winter ski centre ŽIAR with 2 downhill runs and running skiing landscape, average skiing season from 30th December till 15th April. Skiing is possible in the evening too. Distance is approximately 8 km from Pension MAXIM.
