How can you reach us?
Pension MAXIM is located in North Slovakia surrounding by Carpathian Mountains (Low Tatra, West Tatra and High Tatra). You can reach us by car or by public transport.
If you travel by car from:
| Hungary | through Bratislava and Žilina to Liptovský Mikuláš (direction to Poprad). Between Žilina and Poprad (after 65 km) starts highway exit to Liptovský Mikuláš, Demänová, Jasna, in direction to JASNA (on roundabout first to the right)

| Czech Republic | direction Brno, Olomouc to Žilina/Martin/Liptovský Mikuláš, the same exit

| Poland | direction to Cadca/Zilina/Martin - Liptovský Mikuláš or Dolný Kubín/Ružomberok, Liptovský Mikuláš or Bardejov/Poprad, Liptovský Mikuláš (direction from Bardejov to Zilina/Bratislava)

| Ukraine | through Košice in direction to Poprad/Žilina - exit in Liptovský Mikuláš (on roundabout the third to the right - direction to JASNA)

Using a train or long distance bus:
Liptovský Mikuláš is final stop for both means of transport. Railway station and bus station are on the same place in Liptovský Mikuláš. You will change your train or long distance bus for local bus No. 5 (Liptovský Mikuláš - Bodice=red line or Liptovský Mikuláš -JASNA=blue line). You will get of on bus stop RAZCESTIE and continue on foot in direction to JASNA (go very, very small uphill). You will turn to the right (just opposite a cemetery) and than first to the right and you are directly in front of our pension. There are information signs for indication a route. It is approximately 300 m from bus stop to Pension MAXIM. It would be possible to pick up your luggage from railway/bus station in Liptovský Mikuláš - according to previous agreement with us.
By car:
If you travel from the Czech Republic, we recommend you to use highway D1 from Prague to Brno/Olomouc. (The end of highway is in Lipník nad Becvou) in direction to Ostrava up to Hranice. There is round about, where you turn to the right - direction Teplice nad Becvou, Valasske Mezirici, Roznov pod Radhostem, frontier border crossing in Makov (Slovak Republic), than direction to Bytca, Zilina, Martin, Ruzomberok and Liptovsky Mikulas. The last lap of a journey is highway D1 again. There is exit to Liptovský Mikuláš - Demanova,Jasna from highway. You will turn to the right - direction JASNA, DEMANOVSKA DOLINA. Demänova is the first village from highway. Will you follow information signs "Penzion Maxim" on your right hand side. It is relatively fast and easy way going through beautiful scenery.
